Narrative theories for music video

The narrative theories that I will like to portray in my music video would be:

- Vladimir Propp's theory;
This means that I would need to include few of his 8 characters that are needed for all storytelling.
I would include an Hero, the helper, the princess. This way we get to see how the hero meets the princess with the help of the helper while also being the villain.

- Tzvetan Todorov's' Narrative theory;
This means that I would need to find a start where there is a visible 'Equilibrium' in which the protagonist seems happy. This would show the viewer that this is what the protagonist is aiming for in their journey and how they want to go back to it.
It would be shot in the order of; Equilibrium- Disequilibrium- New Equilibrium.

- Barthes' Codes;
This means that I will be using one of Barthes' 5 codes. I would like to include Enigma and Symbolic codes into my music video because I want the audience to feel like they are solving this problem with the main protagonist and also understand the narrative more by symbolic codes when watching the video through.

- Claude Levi-Strauss' Binary oppositions;
This means the opposites of two terms like Light, Dark or Hero, villain etc. I will be using this to show the different ranges of opposition I can show an example would be there will be light areas contrast to the dark areas, also, love and hate in the music video.
